Clinical monitoring of newborns in intensive care currently requires many wires connecting multiple sensors and monitors. These wires pose challenges to the parents and nurses who work together to provide care for the babies in that they make skin contact, repositioning and transportation more difficult. Oliver is working on wireless monitoring scenarios that could help to mitigate these problems.
